Adding SecuriCode to Pro?

I noticed that my pro keys came with the SecuriCode access code for the "Keyless Entry System" even though I don't have that on the pro, nor is it an option. Has anyone else received the same and considering adding it? I found a tutorial on an older F150 on how to add it after the fact and I bet it's the exact same parts as the ICE 2022 version.

Matching Part# for 2022 Lightning Pro Exterior Door Moulding: Part #: 1520555

Unable to find an exact math for the keypad though. Here's the Part # that was included on the tutorial: Part #: 14A626

This might be a winter project for me to stay busy, but if anyone decides to do this, please add to this thread.

Isnt there a more simple option where you just put the pad on with 3M Tape and then then dealer codes it?

Should be something like the one on my Bronco, sticks on with 3m tape. I would much prefer the F-150 one, but will buy the other one if necessary.

Here is a link for the trim piece, it shows 2015-2021. The part number fl3z1520555TA is supposed to be the matte finish.

I got my Lightning today and haven’t opened up the driver door to see if the plug is inside, but the code card was taped in the upper glove box.

Great info. This is definitely something I would like to do to my Pro, just not brave enough to be the first. Another project is to add in the workstation console. My local parts department isn't very helpful on anything but the absolute basics. If their computer doesn't say it, they don't know.

Ok, I haven’t opened up the door panel to check for the plug, but I’m going to make the assumption that the plug is there. I just placed my order. Assuming everything is available I’ll know if this works in a couple weeks.

I located a store in CA that had the FL3Z-14A626-AF keypad in stock, I bought two just in case. They might arrive this week.

The applique piece arrived today, FL3Z-1520555-TB is the matte piece but unfortunately they packaged it poorly from the factory (all the bubble wrap on the bottom and the cosmetic side against the cardboard protected by just a thin plastic bag) and it came scratched. I asked the vendor to send a replacement.

The keypads arrived Friday. I need to pull the door panel off and check for the plug. I sent back the damaged applique, they are ordering another one.

Someone on FB posted that the wire was there but they haven’t activated in forescan yet. I received parts as well but I’m debating if I should replace the door speakers while I’m in there.
