Moonroof leaking water

2024 Platinum owner here. I've had water leaking through the moonroof causing musty smell. Also had the recall/TSB work done on the moonroof, however, it seems to be getting worse.

Took it to a drive thru car wash today just to get a decent handle of how much water was being let in, and it seemed like a lot. Is this normal water drainage/leakage?

I’m no expert on the subject but it is designed to “leak” into channels that then drain down the A and C pillars to the ground. Your video seems excessive tho.

Open your roof and make sure the seals are intact. That's an excessive amount of water, should be easy to tell where it's coming in.

I was reading up on the ICE forum about conditioning the seal and found this stuff was HIGHLY recommended. Just treated my seals today and the difference is pretty big

This is certainly not a Lightning issue as it seems all (maybe not 100%, but...) F150's since they went to aluminum have sunroof leakage. One main reason I opted for the Flash, even if it meant having clothe seats, which is fine for me.

Pre-aluminum...

The roof drains are likely clogged.

Wow, that’s a lot of water! Mine is ‘24 Lariat and I was planning to go to the dealership and do the “Trough Assembly “ , but seeing what they did yours I’m so hesitant now. 25B08 is the campaign number, I’m not sure if I want to do the repair cause I don’t see a problem now.

Also have a 24 platty, performed CPS work and they found a clogged drain. Being in the southwest Its a great idea to lube the seals with 303 car seal maintainer.
