Can you limit the charge times through the Tesla EVSE or is it limited to the setting in the car?

Our Tesla J1772 wall connector does not control setting of charging times. Android Tewamo app and Apple Wall Monitor app show voltage, amps, power, temperatures, etc info from the wall connector. Wall Monitor will show a temporary live chart of some parameters, but neither show a log of past charges. Both only on local network wi-fi, i believe.
