I had to double check the calendar. I was about to have a nervous breakdown if I still had 2 days of work left. :ROFLMAO:
Well now we know what type of week I’ve been having. 😁

Does anyone know what “additional” features come with this update? Like yeah I know 1.4 is the main thing but does this enable the walk away lock?

Indeed, pulled into the parking lot for jazz rehearsal and got an update pop-up. Says BC 1.4 will be installed tonight. And just as I'm headed out on a road trip tomorrow.
And the update interrupted my charging session. Was set to charge to 100% for today's road trip. When I woke up for my morning run, truck was sitting at 74%; should have hit 100% by that time. Thankfully we don't hit the road for a few more hours.

Well, I got my first test drive in and I probably have the best situation to report on the improvement.

I drive 46 miles with about only 6 miles of that being blue Cruise eligible. But of that 6 miles about 3 miles are construction, and Blue Cruise would always disengage when the lane gets narrow and bumpy.

This time, Blue Cruise stating engaged for the entire duration, including the construction stretch.

I tested out the automatic Lane changes and they worked really well also.

I am a happy customer. I have Tesla auto pilot experience as well from 2020 at least.

Finally got the update! Might have to take the highway tomorrow rather than the back roads up to the mountains just to try it out. '23 Lariat ER

Blue Cruise 1.4 OTA In progress now

Just started the Blue Cruie 1.4 OTA Update...said it would take up to 83 minutes....a bit nervous that it will complete successfully and not brick the truck

I thought this was interesting - I was at about 83% when I plugged in yesterday, before the BC 1.4 update started. Did that update really use 220kWh of energy? If so…that’s a lot of juice for the angry bumblebees.

Just to answer my own question, I unplugged the truck so the FCSP could log the charge event - no, it didn’t use that much energy - the charge is about 1kWh higher than normal for my drive yesterday.

No, it did not use 220 kWh there are many reports of strange data in Ford pass, myself included! I said I must’ve gotten the battery expansion OTA update!

Great news on the rollout. It's as though someone, might have had a crystal ball.
Now about that Pro Power without starting the truck for '22's and '23's @Gimme_my_MME ! :bandit:
