New Charging Entity Entering the South East

Wishing these guys the best as they work to build out additional charging network in the South Eastern US.

Being in KY, I can attest to the need for more charging options here in KY, particularly in the more rural areas.

Their office is right around the corner from my office, and I've spoken to Josh Turner via e-mail. He's very responsive and seems like he wants to do some good for the EV community. They are also getting some sort of funding from a family-owned oil company, so that's good to have some backing.

I think it is a good idea in general to use local charging stations - even when we don't really need to. It's a way to check that the connecting/charging process is working properly with various charging networks (so we can rely on them when we DO need them during travel) and I feel it will incentivize the expansion of chaging stations in general if we make frequent use of the existing charging networks.

I don’t know much about them. I had seen Josh on a Live YouTube presentation with Martin Meeks. He is a guy out in Kansas that rebuilds primarily EV’s. He has done some awesome updates that most of us will never see. Worth checking out.

The PowerUp group is planning to open their first site later this year in Manchester, KY. Do a search for level 3 chargers in KY and will see why I am a supporter.
