No EV routing in Google maps

The update landed on my 2025 Flash this morning. I reloaded my recent trip to Birmingham and EV charging appeared.

Are you accessing the maps thru android auto or apple car play or just looking at Google maps on your phone?

My bad, I'm using Apple car play, seems this update is AA only. It's on the phone as expected, just not in the truck.

I was really hopeful. I just got update 11 my first since May. But alas still no EV route planning in Android Auto.

About 24 hours after receiving the ECG2-25.2.8.5 update I received the SYNC-25.2.4.9 update. After the SYNC update google maps had EV routing. So hopefully by tomorrow you'll have it.

I was really hopeful. I just got update 11 my first since May. But alas still no EV route planning in Android Auto.

This update prepares your truck for the SYNC update that will fix the issue. I will bet you will get the fix in the next week or so.

Should be there in less a week, i got this and 2 more in less than a week. And that was before I got into EAP.

Im really excited now. As you can see I'm easily amused. Taking a 600+ mile road trip tomorrow. As disappointed as I have been with software and customer service as it relates to software, I have to always add how pleased I am with the truck otherwise. Wonderful machine!

Which update is specific for the iPhone?? As far as I know, I have only received the AA EV routing update fix; that is SYNC -25.2.4.9

I'd swear there was an update between ECG2-25.2.8.5 and SYNC-25.2.4.9 even though it doesn't show on my update history. It might be possible they put me in EAP earlier than I thought, and the first Sync update was the one that announced EV routing for Apple and Google, it was clearly in the patch notes, then they patched the patch adding the fix for Android.

Edit: I suspect this to be the case because none of my patch notes mention EV routing other than saying that it's been fixed for Android. Kinda weird they didn't keep them as separate updates in the history though. Maybe because they happened on the same day, leaving for work I got the EV routing notes, leaving work (4 AM) I got the notes for the Android fix. Who knows, but I'm happy about it.
