So I have the parking sensor fault I have seen in a few threads here, but none of them seem to have a clear answer.
2022 Lariat.

Seems to be correlated to the weather because when it's wet out, then yeah, it stops working as well. Snow and ice especially would cause the whole system to freak out. Found a video online of someone just doing contact cleaner and unplugging all the rear bumper ones to get it fixed, but I'm trying to decide if that's actually going to be a meaningful fix or if I should go to the dealer or just continue to learn to live with it.

Otherwise, I've got dialectic grease and contact cleaner sitting in my cart ready for pickup today. I understand it's a truck, so there's lots of open space, but the fact that the wiring to all of these sensors is so easily accessible under the bumper is wild to me.

This winter I noted severe ice build up on the wire hardness between the wheels and rear bumper, it could easily stress the wire bundles and plugs !!

I get the sensor fault when the sensors get covered with snow, ice, salt and can't work properly. When the weather is crap, I don't use the features that need the sensors.

I can get sensors to reliably fault if I take the truck through a car wash under 25F and it won’t clear until it gets several hours of above freezing temperatures. It seems likely ice forms in the crevices around the sensor housing mounting faulting the ultrasonic sensors. This is without any visible buildup on the outside surface.

I'd caution against the application of dielectric grease on sensor contacts. I have had experiences where the low current and low voltage signals cannot pass through the dielectric grease.
