This just happened to me for the first time today. 22 Lariat ER with 31,000 miles. I noticed on the power distribution display that the front motor was not operating and the maximum available power dropped to 56%. No recent software updates. No warning messages.

Sometimes a restart fixes it. See if you can AC charge past 65% without the red ring. If not then you’ve likely joined the bad module club.

Yes, 56% is the tell tale sign this is likely a front motor “off” scenario just after a software update. It’s happened to mine twice and after a few restarts and short gentle drives it’s back to normal. I don’t know if @Ford Motor Company has put out a TSB or anything for this but it’s been a thing for a few years now for some of us.
