I'm having issues with departure preconditioning and charging times not working. about 10-20% of the time, my predeparture I have set every day, will work. Otherwise, the truck doesn't precondition in the mornings as I have it set, unless, about 30 minutes before departure, I unplug the truck and then plug it back in. Then the predeparture will work.

Also I had charging times set for a night to charge over night, but I had an instance where the truck did not call for charging from the charger and it wasn't charging when it should have. I opened the door, and the truck "woke up" and started charging, as it should, but this was an hour after it programmed to start charging. I could have been stuck at home not able to go to work if it hadn't charged overnight so this spooked me and I turned off charging set times.

I'm now getting a pop up on my screen sometimes when I turn off my truck after driving with a message that says "estimated charge by next departure : xx% , charge settings : conflict". I attached a picture below of the notification....
This pops up without my truck being plugged in after driving.

Several folks have experienced these issues.

From the Sync screen in the truck:

Edit your current location based charging scheme confirm the maximum SOC you desire (80/90)% then go to the next page, eliminate the time frame windows for weekday and weekend, the trash can icon at these steps flushes the time frames, finalize/save the edits.

When the main charging screen reappears, make sure to toggle switch is ON, on couple of occasions I accidently turned it off while editing.

Shut down the truck, plug in, assuming your below the set point charging should start immediately ~60 seconds.

If you're not in a TOU rate plan just live with it charging for a few days in this scheme, then assuming all goes well, edit the scheme to restore your time frames.

One more things, Force Stop the Ford Pass app, then restart it, after a few seconds the app should sync up the setting posted in the truck.

Not charging overnight got me last night. I had to drive my 100 mile round trip commute in 30 degree weather with no heat to make it to work and back. Can you imagine having to explain to your boss that you couldn't come to work because your vehicle didn't have enough charge?

This is what I ended up with. My original DTE was 128 miles. No way I would have made it with heat.

Exactly. I gave up relying on the charger timed, too risky for work
