Is there a way to disable climate control and pro power so that they aren't on automatically at start. I find myself often turning both off each time I drive and don't need eather.

my experience is that CLIMATE is only automatically active when YOU left it ON at the last OFF.
if you turn it OFF before you turn the truck OFF, then it's probably NOT going to come on the next START.

for ProPOWER, it's ALWAYS active in the CAB, but YOU have to tell it to turn ON for the other areas, the BED, specifically, otherwise. Yes, you CAN turn off ALL ProPOWER, but, really, there's NO reason to... it's just 'active', but it does NOTHING unless you have something plugged in, and ON, otherwise.

I was under the impression that the pro power does consume power when on even with no connected load. I thought that because I get the warning when approaching the reserve charge level.

The climate starts on the truck when started even if it was off when shut down. I haven't tried it with the fan off also, I'll do that next.

I just want them to default to off unless I want them. Having said that, the climate may well be used regardless of its being off in the cabin due to being used for battery heating/cooling.

No.(edit, no the auto is not on) I get in roll the windows down and notice cold air and the AC light on. I then turn it off by touching the AC light. When I stop and later restart the same thing happens.

Turn the fan off, it will stay off on start-up. Well, it does on my 23. I could have sworn the ac stayed off as well if it was off when I shut down, guess I need to take better mental notes on that one.

I was asking about the Auto switch - not the A/C switch

I refer to both. Auto off and the AC light comes on at the next start even if both were off when the truck was last turned off.

I get the same thing as OP. AC come on nearly every time I power the truck up. As for the fan, I don't seem to have any off, I can only turn it down to level 1. If there is some other way to turn it completely off, I have found it in the 18 months I've had the truck.

Auto only goes down to 1. However, you can manually turn the fan down to 0 with the fan button (that also takes it out of Auto).

When I start my truck, my HVAC controls are always in the state that they were when I shut it off.

I will look again, certainly could have missed something, but the button stops at 1. In and XLT.with the 12" screen.

in my '22 PRO, you simply press the BIG Climate Button to turn everything OFF

pressing the lighted A/C button simply turns off the compressor

pressing down the FAN button only regulates the FAN

one thing , though, that has always perplexed me, is the REMOTE Climate ON feature, thru the FordPassAPP... it works just fine to 'start' the truck, and have cooling or heating, yet, when you get in and 'start' the truck, it immediately turns everything OFF, the way I left it last....

Climate is OFF when you turn it off. You are simply setting a manual setting.

Pro Power warning is an alert, nothing more. Only cabin outlets are on.
