Pro Trailer Hitch Assist via OTA update for MY22?

Possibly we could make a Genie to make the changes if people would be interested in that.. rather than doing it via forscan.

The auto hitch requires you also have the trailer brake module. So you would have to have added it if your truck didnt have it.

I have a 23 XLT with the trailer package - I guess. I have the option with less features. This might be totally beside the point for 22s, but I was interested in the hitch assist pro as well. I researched parts first (tasca.com) and then just popped the blank panel off the dashboard. I have wiring in place for the button, so it cost me around $105 for the button, the bezel around it and S&H. I have a Momgo

FOr you it would be more involved.. You have to add pro trailer back up first.. That involves replacing the AIRBAG module(RCM)

Not that hard to do but some people freak out over that stuff

Once you have the correct RCM you can add the TRM(Trailer module) and make the appropriate changes.

Adding just that button wont do much
