Got mine back yesterday. Based on the work sheet some heat-shields and another item (i assume battery module were replaced) . Charged it up to 90% (on my house solar system) and backed it into the detached garage. Will drive it today. I'm happy it was not torn completely apart. Don't fix what ain't broken.

I'm not sure your two statements go together. You assumed a battery module was replaced, but you also note you are happy that it was not torn completely apart. If they replaced a battery module, your battery was dropped from the truck and disassembled to get the new module in. It was torn apart.

Took four weeks, but we have had the truck back for a couple days now. So far so good. 3 modules replaced. So glad to have the recall done and can safely charge to 100% again when needed.

Similar experience to you. Dealership had my truck for 3 weeks. It took a week for Ford and the Dealership to determine the fix. Another week to get parts. One module was replaced. So, for my truck this is the second module that has been replaced. Like you I am glad to have my truck back, and the ability to charge to 100%.

Small update. Dealership pushed our appointment back for three weeks (dropped off Monday, was originally scheduled for July 7). No explanation, but I don't mind since the truck was perfectly drivable, hopefully it was to order parts (but I'm also a realist). When I dropped it off he was still saying they would need to inspect it before ordering modules.

Got a loaner, 25 F150 Hybrid, it's nice but not a Lightning, also, that transmission shifts like a drunk when it's cold. The brake booster is also super noisy when it's in EV mode. Makes me appreciate the Lightning all that much more. The familiar ding while backing up is mildly comforting though.

I know Ford only pays loaner for three days, but my rental paperwork said 4 days, which is today. Definitely not encouraged by the updates I've seen here, your trucks being gone for multiple weeks! Seems like Ford really does their best to make the process quick and well documented, only for the dealers to literally not follow what's written in the process.
