Just got my 2022 F-150 Lightning back after 90 days:

2 Modules were bad
The coolant system failed a pressure test so some components needed replaced.

The first module pallet that arrived to my dealer was damaged so that's what took so long.

Happy to have my truck back!

Cheers

Small update. Dealership pushed our appointment back for three weeks (dropped off Monday, was originally scheduled for July 7). No explanation, but I don't mind since the truck was perfectly drivable, hopefully it was to order parts (but I'm also a realist). When I dropped it off he was still saying they would need to inspect it before ordering modules.

Got a loaner, 25 F150 Hybrid, it's nice but not a Lightning, also, that transmission shifts like a drunk when it's cold. The brake booster is also super noisy when it's in EV mode. Makes me appreciate the Lightning all that much more. The familiar ding while backing up is mildly comforting though.

I know Ford only pays loaner for three days, but my rental paperwork said 4 days, which is today. Definitely not encouraged by the updates I've seen here, your trucks being gone for multiple weeks! Seems like Ford really does their best to make the process quick and well documented, only for the dealers to literally not follow what's written in the process.
I'm thankful my dealer gives me one of their courtesy cars to drive whenever they need to keep my lightning. This is the sign of a great dealer, Dahl Ford, Davenport, Iowa.

Just had my go with this recall. dropped her friday picked her up that monday. only one moduale need changing. awesome. BUT...I go to over night charge her up. Didnt charge at all. Tuesday when i get home from work i try a manual charge thinking the fcsp was acting up. (not surprising) Nothing. Break out my ford mobile charger, nothing. Take it to a near by level 3 charger. nothing. long story long, the dealer says my charge port is shooting a code and needs to be replaced. $1400. Im glad i got the extended warranty. $250 after the deductable. Dunno when ill get it back. they gave me a ranger xlt. im 6'0 265lbs and its not very comfortable. i hope i get my truck back soon.

My 23ER is going in on Monday for this recall. My dealer tells me they have the parts after a two month wait, though the experiences here suggest they somehow shouldn't actually know what is needed until they lower the battery. Fingers crossed that Ford has improved this aspect and the three day turnaround cited by the dealer will be accurate.

Is there a particular SOC I should have the truck at when I drop it off to help expedite things?

Curious, wouldn't that have been covered by the 8-year EV components warranty?

Sorry to hear about the charge port issue, seems strange it came up after they took everything apart and reassembled...
But that charge port issue has been a problem for several folks here.

From page 18 of the Warranty:

(2) The high voltage battery and eDrive systems of your vehicle are covered by the Electric Vehicle Component coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. High voltage battery and eDrive components covered by this warranty include the high voltage battery assembly, Bussed Electrical Center (BEC), Battery Energy Control Module (BECM), on-board charger, Inverter System Controller (ISC), DC/DC converter, and eDrive. If a covered component requires replacement under the Electric Vehicle Component warranty, it may be replaced with a new, factory remanufactured, or factory refurbished component, at Ford’s discretion. Refurbished battery components selected for your vehicle will align with your vehicle’s age and mileage and meet Ford’s requirements and standards.

What should my next steps be? They are charging me $250 to cover the deductible on this repair that should be covered by fords 8 year.

every search on the internet to get proof in black and white from ford leads me back to "ask your deal" they wont straight up answer the direct question. What should be covered and what is covered isnt the same thing. and if you leave it up to the dealership to pick, of course they are going to want to charge us.

I'm curious why you have a deductible. Something like the charge port going bad under warranty would be completely covered at my dealership.
