We can all agree it's absolutely insane we still haven't gotten the Bluecruise update, right? It was supposed to happen LAST summer.
In fact, Ford was so confident that they said they were surprising us by releasing it even earlier in the summer!

Did you buy new? Was it in the window sticker? Doubtful that you can "add" it if hardware isn't installed. Not easily anyway..

All Lariats should have the hardware installed, so you should be all set there. Go into your Ford connected services and see if it is something you can turn on by paying for it.

I really think they either found a big bug in it (least likely) or realized they have no idea how to push a big OTA update like that.

March-e's haven't gotten it either.

I wonder if it means it is never coming to older vehicles. If so good luck getting us to pay the $800 per year they want.

On the other hand, if they want to keep extending the 1.0 trial while they figure it out, I am fine with that.

Was talking to a friend who has a new Tesla and he was telling me how good the full self drive is on the trial. They pushed it out to everyone with a 2017 or newer for a month free trial. It took him out of the parking lot, on the side streets to the freeway, onto the freeway and through his neighborhood streets. Maybe someday they will license it to other manufacturers. . .
