Not to mention that they maxed out the fuel efficiency rating with no deprecation of any other characteristic. Seems too good to be true.

Based on that graphic, why would you ever not pick the EV tire! There's definitely a downside they're not mentioning (almost certainly cost, probably some performance aspect as well). Otherwise, why wouldn't you just make the standard tire more fuel efficient?

I’ve used Toyo Open Country tires on several vehicles and they were great. 2002 GMC Sierra, 2010 F150, Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Highlander. I live in southern Oregon Cascades (4200 ft el) and these tires were great in the snow and ice. Will certainly look into for my Lightning.
