Truck doesn't "Beep Beep" when locking the doors

My truck doesn't "Beep Beep" when I press lock. I want it to. Is this a setting? Can I add this?

It will only honk if you press the Lock button on the fob twice.

Not a solution, but it's something: if you have the auto folding mirrors, you can set them to fold when you lock it. So you have another visible indicator. I like this because I can glance at my camera in the house and see that yes, I did in fact lock it.

This isn't unique to the Lightning. Same on my MMe and my wife's Buick ICE. I hope this is set this way for courtesy of your neighbors - the lights flash when the lock is set on the first press of the fob.

I have disabled the horn beep on every vehicle I have ever owned (that had the option) for exactly that reason.

I lock mine with the app, and if I'm not close enough to hear the 'CLANK' of all the doors locking, I can see it, with a CHECK mark, on the app.

In The Hamptons where I live there has been a rash of exotic / luxury car auto thefts and the crew doing it drives around the area looking for unfolded mirrors as an indication they can steal the vehicle so it’s definitely a good idea to make sure your mirror auto folding mirrors are enabled .

This is easy in the Lightning - there is a switch in the GUI. Just turn it off. Other vehicles require an update using Forscan to turn it off.

There is no chirp of any kind. if you get feedback you get the horn. Push lock twice it'll honk for confirmation. If you don't flip the switch and get you get out of the truck with it on and leave the key in it, it will honk.
