TSB 24-2251 - Inoperative BlueCruise

My 2023 Lariat has been flawless for 2 years and 35,000 miles, but last week I noticed Bluecruise stopped working. After checking all my settings, and getting passed from Customer Service, to Connected Services, and finally to Technical Services they finally decided I had this issue. I have an appointment with my dealer early next week and will report back.


TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 24-2251 - Inoperative BlueCruise And Lane Centering With DTCs U2018:51 Stored In The CMR And U0565:86 Stored In The IPMA - Issued August 21, 2024

This bulletin supersedes 24-2087. Reason for update: To update the vehicle lines, model years affected, action and service procedure.

Issue: Some 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E/F-150, 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning/Expedition/Navigator,
2023-2024 Corsair vehicles may exhibit an inoperative BlueCruise and lane centering with DTCs
U2018:51 stored in the CMR and U0565:86 stored in the IPMA without DTC U3000:49 stored in the
CMR. This may be due to the software level of the CMR. To correct the condition, follow the
Service Procedure to reprogram the CMR module using the latest software level of the FDRS scan tool.

Just got my truck back and they could not update the module per the TSB 24-2251 at first. But they went with TSB 23-2122 and were able to find a previous download that had not completed so once that was taken care of they proceeded with updating BlueCruise per the 24-2251. they also found my 12V battery was not up to spec and replaced that for me as well. All looks good now and I’m happy to get a new 12v battery out of the deal.
