I have a new 2025 Lightning. I am looking for an under the rear storage box.
Many vendors make that product for traditional F150s, but they say it will not fit in the Lightning.

Anyone know where I can source one for the Lightning? Cheers! TJ

  • Aftermarket trays and organizers for ICE F-150s (especially generic ones sold as “fits F-150 2015–2025”) often assume a flat floor and standard seat mounts, which might align enough to work in a Lightning — but aren’t officially guaranteed because the Lightning floor routing and electronics (e.g., battery / wiring) are different.

  • Companies like WeatherTech make Lightning-specific under-seat storage systems because they’ve been measured to match the unique contours of that truck’s cabin.
  • Generic bags/boxes (e.g., strap-on organizers) can physically fit under the seat in either truck because they’re not anchored to the OEM structure — but true OEM-style drop-in drawers/boxes may not be direct-bolt compatible.

Do not take this as 100% true, but I would be VERY surprised if 2022-23 ones wouldn't fit.

There are some changes between 2022 and 2023 (I have owned both) and the 23 is less good than the 22 one.

Maybe I'm missing something but your profile says 25' Lariat. I thought this was standard on the Lariat trim? At least my truck came with it. It is lockable but it's mainly plastic/vinyl composite so I wouldn't go putting anything to secure there. Depending on how large your items are I would suggest locking into the center console it does lock plus they sell an extra safe you can put inside there as well.
