Erm, you can absolutely use the pro power on board while driving. When we're filming chase shots, our gimbals are powered by the rear 120V outlets in the bed.

It will give you a warning about the outlet covers being up, but it works :)

2022 owners manual indicates that it's not possible to have the outlet cover open and move the shifter out of park, they mention a warning that will pop up that you can acknowledge but I don't know if that would override the shifter lock out.
The override does work! I pulled a parade float. Yes I had a moment that seemed I couldn’t move with the truck. Once I over road the warning the truck shifted fine.

Great to hear that report and from others above, I've never had the need to test the bypass, actually never seen it since I've never used PPOB from the bed with intention to drive at the same time.

* "Obey traffic laws...." Do I REALLLY need to be lectured about this every single time I use navigation? Like I get that you are covering your ass, but dayum. It's my vehicle that I gave you money for. Please let me regedit this stuff away at least.

@Ford Motor Company- PLEEEEASE give me a checkbox for 'Don't pester me about this again'
