I still get mad at the people who leave their car at the pump and go in for Dunkin' while we have to wait to fill up.

Remember, folks. Free country means that you're allowed to be a jerk. It doesn't mean it's compulsory.

Ivan, I took my first trip two months ago. Drove from NH to PA. Stopped at an EA charger about half way there, went and had lunch, came back an hour or so later and made it the rest of the way.

Maybe there's a reason they're in there for a while.

I don't like coffee, and their donuts suck.....not like back in my day when they were made fresh daily in the store. Now they're trucked in and suck.

I won't begrudge somebody their snack or meal choices, or how long they take to consume them. But use the parking spaces rather than blocking the pump!

Agreed, it is absolute sacrilege, having grown up on Dunkin Donuts (not exclusively of course) having been founded in Mass and my earliest memories as a kid, getting donuts on Sundays, it's grating to see the new trade names........

My issues is EA two side stations right, so two plugs to support which side of the car your charging. I went for my first visit yesterday and twice people stopped my session lol... Both times Audi drivers saying they didn't know you could charge trucks. . .

Out and say it. Why does EVERY WV id4 and EVERY KIA/Hyundai think they need to charge to 100% ever freaking time they are at a DCFC station!?!?!?!?

Just today I dealt with an ID4 driver who without any hesitance referred to owning an electric pickup truck as “stupid” and charged her car to 100% while four cars waited for one of only two functional fast chargers within a 45-mile radius, my truck being one of them. This was a local woman by herself watching me and my five-person family find ways to stay occupied for the hour we were sitting there. I was not pleased with that woman. Thankfully it’s been the only negative experience I’ve had with a fellow EV person at a charger. Well, except for the one with pink hair who wouldn’t return gestures or greetings, basically pretended to be there by herself.

The 30-minute timer resets If you unplug and restart the charge for both the ID.4 and the Ioniq 5.

These unlimited offers were a bad idea and it's creating congestion in already strained Electrify America infrastructure. Many of the people with this deal are charging at Electrify America when they could just plug in at home.

This explains the lady in an ID4 today who was a local in the town the fast charger I desperately needed was in who charged from 20-100% while a line of people waited.

Don't worry, the charging networks will come up with creative ways train (and monetize) the simple courtesies we're talking about. Demand charges, queuing systems, priority reservations, premium subscription tiers and time limits are already being piloted or rolled out.

People will still have the opportunity to be misanthropic, but they'll have to pay more for the privilege.

Very well worded. I have not seen this talked about on these forums. I think there are some that have not thought of this. The day will also come when someone thinks of a way to add on these chargers a road use tax.

Massachusetts already adds on the state retail sales tax of 6.25% to the energy delivered.
