Hmm I never had any background noise issues. I hope it resolves random CarPlay no audio though.

I definitely do have this faint static noise. It's not always apparent but more pronounced on certain songs. It might be more perceptible on my Platinum with more speakers. I hear the static right next to my ear!

Hopefully this one comes to me soon and it fixes it!

Maybe this turns the sub channel down more to stop the back window and back of the cab/front of the bed from vibrating like a 1994 Civic with a subwoofer in the trunk.

I've never had unexpected background noises. But I did have to unplug the center speaker so that I could hear the rest of the speakers

I often hear a brief whitenoise when I transition out of SYNC apps or settings and into CarPlay. Hoping this fixes that.

If anything needs to be turned down, it's the center channel. Overpowers everything.

Just slap a resistor on it.

You use surround, or stereo in the audio settings?

Mostly surrounded. But it doesn't matter. I wish there was an adjustment for it. If I replace the rest of my speakers and add some sub, I might just unplug it.

i adjust the fader back 1-2 steps form the center.

Same. Seems to help a bit. But the rear speakers are also so underpowered.

Got it today. Another update now install for me without problems. Overall, I have not been impressed with the audio system from the start but it’s also not that important to me. I listen primarily to spoken audio

Only maybe 2 times the sub would make a thumping noise that's not in the music

lol, it really sounded like someone was in the bed of the truck banging to be let out.
I almost stopped to look, but when I turned down the sound the banging stopped.
That was a year ago and has nerver done it since.
