Sold my truck yesterday...bitter sweet. Now we just need to get this train rolling. Driving a 20 year old BMW until my Lightning comes.

Factoring my resale on used truck, tax credit, and gas savings, I essentially get my Pro for free, which is really astonishing. Definitely the best bargain out of the lineup.

I have a browser monitoring plugin (Distill Web Monitor) monitoring a couple of the Lightning order/production status pages automatically. It rings a bell and flashes a message that a web page I'm monitoring has changed. It can also do a PUSH notification to your smartphone, requires paid subscription.

It frick'in dings in the morning (average day spends counter changes +1 day), and flashes a message that there was a change. I've been jumping to check which pages have changed.

This morning I saw a flash msg about 'production' and thought my Lighting finally had changed to Built or Awaiting Shipping status. Nope, false alarm.

It's just reading the header text from the website. I just saw what I wanted to see "Awaiting Shipment" lol

when I originally received my MAY 30th scheduled production week notice, I sold my two 'daily drivers' and have since been down to our single, but new, Kia Sorento PHEV, which is great, but having only one vehicle, and it not being able to tow our camper, has been a REAL BUMMER since then. I've been pushed no less than 6 times, and two MONTHS back - I've had NO truck to tow my camper, although we've had plans for no less than THREE long trips. I've had to 'borrow' my own Mother's Explorer, and now I'm borrowing my own Son's older Silverado to make these trips happen - and with ALL the gas costs and high prices that the LIGHTNING was 'supposed' to solve!

Crazy times. Now I have to 'hope' and keep my fingers crossed that the JULY 25th build week will even hold up, itself. Even then, my wife will start back to teaching and using the KIA on Aug 1st, leaving me vehicle-less until the Lightning finally 'arrives'...crazy.

Update from my neck of the woods -- I received a notification overnight in the app that someone denied my Activation request.

So rude!

What's weird is it won't even let me try to activate; it says I have to wait until I take delivery of my vehicle.

Give that a few days - that is an interim status. I had that for almost a week. keep trying and you'll finally get an Active button.

I wonder if getting the activate button is a bit random based on when the truck was last driven? Is it possible the activation status depends if the truck computers are active compared to being in a standby or sleep mode? Or, is it all within the Ford Pass system that initially authorizes the ability to request activation?

Either way once you get the activation button then you're hoping for the 1 in 1000 chance that an accommodating person driving the truck next clicks ok to your request.

That is possible, I'm hoping my 6/9 blend that was in production 6/17 is delivered to the east coast by 7/27, you have a good chance with a similar west coast delivery
