Any taillights anti-theft solutions?

has anyone come up with an anti theft deterrent for the lightning tail lights? As it sits they are just screws and the lights are $$$$$$

If it's really that much of a concern, I'm sure you can replace said screws with a tamper-proof version.

Or just use your insurance since that's what it's for.

Lock your truck which locks your tailgate that blocks access to the tail lights screws. Ford hacks lol

yes I know someone who has had them stolen twice . Just google it taillights are more than just tail lights. They have a radar and are incredibly expensive. .

For the guy who says cover it with a tailgate lock I have a tailgate lock . Notice the 2 screws about the lock those are the two easily removable screws and the lights pop out

What they were saying is if your tailgate is closed and you lock your truck. The tailgate becomes locked and doesn’t allow access to those bolts.

If your tailgate is closed and you lock you truck with a key fob or Ford app your doors and tailgate lock they cannot access the bolt..... Lock your vehicle problem solved......

There is someone in Texas who sells a bracket to make tailgate and light theft more difficult by making it harder to lower the tailgate in the first place. Sells them via EBay.

I cannot confirm whether it will fit the Lightning.

Edit 2: The photo on the website is for an earlier generation F-150. So maybe the 2021+ ICE version will fit. Here is a photo of the 2021+ version.

I just edited my post. The ones pictured in the website are for Gen 13. The Gen 14/2021+ version might fit. See photos added above. Will know for sure in a couple weeks.

So u ordered them ? If u could let us know how they fit . My husband is concerned about the pin and no where for it to go. But really great thing he made . I sent him a message hoping he could alter for lightning

I did order them. The pin is an offset post. It has a rubber cap on it and is designed to keep the plate close to the gate. So there is not supposed to be a corresponding hole.

12/11 blend date. So I am hoping to test these out in a couple weeks.
