I don't think they ever gave a hard date on the deal.

Either way, not going to even care until it actually happens, adapters have yet to ship out also.

Nobody ever officially said February. The official timeline from Ford has always been Spring 2024.

My understanding was the only reference was by the Tesla Charging representative that you linked to.... All of the Media communication prior to that and since has always said Spring 2024 for Ford's access. With that said I will put my chips on 6/20/24 at best.

Remember Ford stated we would receive Bluecruise 1.4 before the end of year 2023?!?

I dont trust their (or well really anyones) timelines.

Ford has been pushing OTAs hard to get all of us that were stuck in powerup 4.x land to the latest. I think all of these sweeps are in preparation to push the final update to allow us to use the SC network. We've seen the teaser that was leaked the other day which I'm pretty sure was someone violating their early access NDA. That update included instructions to visit https://www.ford.com/FastChargingAdapter/ to claim your adapter. FYI, that link still doesn't work at this time. The point is, there is a flurry of activity going on right now to support this. I don't mind if they don't hit a Feb date that was blurted out by a Tesla PR rep. What I see is that things are happening, and are very likely to be in place before summer road trips.

I’m guessing it will become available the day after BC 1.4 (or whatever number it is now). That was going to be available before the end of the year.

Ford just never explicitly said which year. ?

Nobody ever officially said February. The official timeline from Ford has always been Spring 2024.
Some Tesla official said so in a Planning Commission meeting here:

NEWS: Ford and GM vehicles will gain access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers in North America in February 2024, according to Jenny Pretare, Tesla Design Manager of Charging Infrastructure.

"We're opening up to most of the other car manufacturers in stages just to make sure we don't get swamped all at once." Farr West Planning Commission (Utah?)

You consider that an official announcement?

Of course not. I don't think I said so. I'm pointing out who said what where and when. Infer whatever you want from it
You responded to, and quoted, me. Infer whatever you want from my response to your response.

I am not too excited about getting access to Tesla chargers. Here in San Antonio and all over Texas at least 80% of the superchargers are version 2 which the adapter will not work with. So until those are updated (which I don't expect soon) we are a bit out of luck. Sure there are some V3 chargers, but it's not good here. Even EA chargers are spaced out and not at all convenient to go to. The nearest to me is 10 miles away and the next closes one is another 28 miles away. People might not believe it but Texas is near the bottom of states for EV charging!
