Yes I agree I still think it’s a good deal. Issue was more of the lies, deceit and games they played. They claim fed credit included in dealer discount which I strongly dispute that they can’t claim it’s their discount on the website when it’s federal funding. This was going to be my argument when I was planning to take this to small claim court.

34500 with slightly over 25k mileage. Don’t really care about the money spent on mods. Discount was big enough that I’m ok with the lost.

Yes I got it at the original offer of just under 40k

I added some option to it. However since I’m in NJ there isn’t sales tax so it was worth the switch to bigger battery which is the major reason I made the switch

makes sense, I couldnt justify the upgrade in MD since there is sales tax and i dont NEED the ER. I would rather put that $15K-ish i would spend into a MT Toyota GR86. I miss my MT mustang...

• My local dealer is willing to play ball with the pricing except for the X-plan. I went through all the responses here but was unable to find a solid credible proof I can provide to my dealer on how to make the X-plan work with the discounted price.
• There is a screenshot showing Lightning is eligible for X-plan discount. But then the dealer says it can only work on the original price+$7500 credit by Ford.
• There is another screenshot and link from the X-plan website showing lightning is not eligible.

Not sure how I can make the X-plan work with the discounted price. If you have any tips on how your dealer made it work, that will be very helpful to me and many members here. You got the fastest color BTW, congrats

It’s an X-Plan REBATE Cash for 2023 Lightnings, THERE IS NO X PLAN Pricing for 2023 Lightning. They are 2 different things.

If the dealer doesn’t understand it, move on to one that does. There are thousands of Ford dealers across the country. The dealer should have access to a regional rep who could explain this to them but that’s all I can think of.

I did get it via Mustang Club of America but I signed up a long time ago to try and get a deal on MachE, luckily the dealers were awful and I never went through with it.

I ended up running into the same issues as you. They were adamant you couldn’t combine discount and XPlan rebates. How I ended up getting around It is after we got firm on dealer discount and the only hold up was application of the XPlan rebates, I told the dealer to take that discount, bump my trade up by the discount number and then sell the truck at the “invoice” XPlan price. Same exact numbers, but put the dealer’s mind at ease.

I recently (3/18/24) was quoted $58k for a 2023 Lariat Lightning with the Extended Range battery; NJ doesn't charge sales tax on EV.

Didn't pull the trigger due to trade-in value for a recently purchased Tesla Model Y this past October 2023; bought the Model Y as my lease was up and the Ford Lightning dealer quoted me close to $100k for a Lariat or Platinum model..??

Trying to sell the Tesla privately and then swing back towards a Lariat Lightning purchase.

Yes, NJ resident and First Responder $500 discount; I'm guessing dealership discount.

The spray in bed liner is the way to go; I think the other charge for $499 is BS..

$6k off is ok and you don’t have X-Plan or Private offer. You gotta drop the extras though like PermaPlate. Does the truck already have Spray on Liner? I wouldn’t trust the dealer to do a good job on it.
