Update on mine, update is still going we are at 20 hours. Dealer wants to keep it running until the afternoon. Seems insane as I'm reading this bulletin... I am I wrong for telling them to stop it and try again?

Did they fix it? They did the same update on a lightning I was about to take delivery of, but the software update failed and brick’d the IPMA module and am told they now have to replace it, but the part is back-ordered.

They got it to run the next day for the normal expected time, my dealer didn’t hook up a 12v charger right away.

I dropped mine of Sunday night for a "half day on Monday." At the end of Monday I got a call saying the update "failed twice" and they they needed it overnight to try again in the morning. Apparently its now halfway in and hopefully Ill be able to pick it up in a few hours...
Just got back from the dealer. Apparently the 3rd time (and second day) they tried it, it went through. Truck is acting normal as far as I can tell.

Took mine in for the bed camera and they pushed this update as well as the frunk module. I'm now afflicted with the tiny 360 view :(
Do you have to have FDRS access to fix it or can it be done with just Forscan?

I think @rugedraw figured out the FORScan way here. Start here and let us know if it works:

I had mobile tech out today to do this. When he was done it was showing the tiny screen. I pulled out the sheet that shows the fix. He applied it and back to normal.

@Zprime29 As mentioned above, it can be fixed with either, but obviously no point in rewarding Ford with $50 to fix their boo-boo when you can take the black market route and FORScan it back.

I'm having 2 weird issues since getting this and the frunk module CSP updates. The lane keep assist now automatically turns on when I engage cruise control. I glanced through the settings and couldn't see anything to toggle off for this. I want lane keep while on the freeway, so I didn't want to toggle it off completely. I just don't like it while on surface streets as I'm either fighting it or it's yelling at me. Where do I decouple this with cruise?

Second, after noticing this I checked my update settings and it looks like the toggle for automatic updates is off. When I try to toggle it on, it goes blue for about 3 seconds and then turns off again. Is that normal? I haven't messed with those settings in a while.

Hey guys - long-time lurker, first time posting.

I have a 22 Lariat ER that just had 24B56 done - I do not have the small 360 camera issue, but I do have the issue w/the front camera no longer showing when pulling up to a wall (the front sensors also seem to be a little less sensitive, but that could be in my imagination because the front camera doesn't activate).

The dealer asked me "Are you sure it did that before the update? Maybe Ford disabled that as part of this update..."

Hoping for a fix - I wasn't even having the sensor issue, I just wanted the recalls done while it was at the dealer. Of course now the truck has taken a step back in functionality.

*EDIT:*

- 1st attempt toasted the IPM thing. They had to order a new wire harness and sensor.
- The recall took 3 days to complete (failed to apply twice, sensor was bricked and then replaced, etc.)

How did they eventually get it to work? My dealer has gone through 2 camera modules. Any chance you can share which dealership you got yours done at?

I noticed the first issue as well. I also find it very annoying that I constantly have to turn lane keeping off if I disable Adaptive Cruise and then later in the drive, turn use crusie again. Seems like it should be how it was before where it's on by default after starting the truck, but won't reactive unless it's manually turned back on, at least until the next time the truck is turned on.

I haven't noticed the software update issue, but I haven't looked either. I know I had to adjust my lane departure sensitivity settings again after the module updates.

Still the same, all the same symptoms you listed on your thread too. I need to make an appointment to take it back to the dealer to check it out. My commute is 100+ miles round trip and that’s made no difference.
After the first 36 hours, I haven't had any more issues. Never charged the truck or drove differently since. I did check the resting 12V voltage before my first "successful" journey Tuesday morning, and the voltage was actually lower (12.56V) than when I was still having issues post-drive Monday night (12.8V), so I'm chalking it up to the BMS taking time to normalize again ?‍♂
