‘23 Lariat. 20,000 miles. The display is cycling through a wide variety of screens and I often cannot change them back. Temperature for the front passenger goes up and down. Radio will change bands and stations. Side sensor not working error message and dash warning light. Changes seem to accelerate on a rough gravel road. RR taillight in all modes: turn, tail, brake not working.

Touchscreen issue maybe ?

I deal with ag equipment and see similar behavior when they are going out

Completely hands-free. Seems sensitive to bumpy roads too.

Maybe something else, but with the ones I deal with they seem to think that there’s a finger touching them even when there isn’t and bumps effect too. Good luck. Definately a warranty deal either way

Technology is so wonderful. In the 50’s and 60’s, the car companies couldn’t even get a dashboard clock to keep the right time, now this

Loose connection, let the dealer figure it out.

Looks like center knob on screen is loose or dirty. Try reboot screen.

Dealer may have to replace the knob.

Do a Sync reset by pressing and holding the volume down and skip ahead buttons on the steering wheel until the center screen goes blank. Clean the screen and check the volume knob for proper function. The knob should spin freely and move back and forth like a button. It's not an electronic switch; it's just a glorified finger that is glued to the screen. Your screen thinks something is touching it. Make sure nothing is touching it before you take it to the dealership.

If you have a screen protector, remove it.

Clean the screen well. Like, make it spotless.

Make sure nothing else is touching the screen.

Take it to the dealer if that doesn't work.

It's not the knob, it defaults to volume so your volume would be going up and down. The problem is the area near the seat heat icon.

Is that a CB or Radar detector power cable brushing against the right lower corner of the screen?

No screen protector. I didn’t know there was one. Thanks for the advice.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? We'd like to investigate this display screen concern on our end. Thanks!
