Sadly my truck is in its fourth week at the dealer with a bad battery and I'm wondering if I'll ever even get to try it.

If you log into your Ford account (www.ford.com/myaccount/) there is a banner at the top with a link for me. Even though I already got mine.

The status page is very often incorrect. Your best bet is to know your original order number and monitor this thread and others like it.

I placed my order on March 2nd - They originally had a deliver date of June 2024, they have moved that date every month, I received another email in October that said it was shipping soon with a October delivery, then it was November, then December - It is still listed as a December delivery but I have reason to be skeptical ?‍??

Based on the order numbers in this thread, seems like ford managed to send out roughly ~6,000 adapters so far in Dec.

Even if they up it to say 8,000 by the end of Dec, I’ll look forward to seeing my order 116,xxx being filled in like October 2025!

Doesn’t seem that hard for Ford to do some basic math to come up with a more realistic delivery date for all of these rather than updating the delivery to the following month every month.

Obviously says item is backordered. It simply says to enter email and you will be notified when back in stock. Is there another website that I should be checking?

Nope, they are still trying to fill all the original orders, SOON™ then you will get an email at some point.

At this point the only option is to buy third party adapters, look for other members like @RickLightning who are promoting them in their sig's

Received replacement adapter and it’s identical to the original but labeled with a different part number. Return instructions for defective part are straightforward, provided carrier bag seems a bit flimsy.

Ford has about 125,000 more to fulfill from the free orders, out of about 160,000 to start with. Months. Likely many months.

Buy the A2Z adapter(s). When your Ford one comes, keep a backup or sell one - there are a dozen more car companies that will gain access in 2025.

A2ZEV makes the Typhoon Pro adapter for Tesla SuperChargers. It sells for $185.00 ($175.75 with code FORDFORUM). They also sell the Stellar adapter, which is for Tesla Destination chargers (such as hotels, private homes). It sells for $108 ($102.60 with code FORDFORUM) . They are currently shipping quickly.
