Confirmed the control center remote start works. Haven’t figured out Siri command yet.

"Hey Siri Lock my Truck" responds with which app do I want to use - Tesla, Fordpass or the Wallet. So I tried again with "Hey Siri use FordPass to lock my truck" and it responded and locked. I assume the same format for other commands. It would just be nice if they would tell us which commands have been built in.

I did ask "Hey Siri use Fordpass to tell me how much charge my truck has" and it responded with "Your car 55%".

I don't have much room in the garage and that is where the truck is, so I'm not asking if it will open the tailgate or frunk yet. If you find others, please pass them on.

Here are some of the commands FordPass supports from Alexa. I imagine Siri would support the same commands:

“Alexa, ask FordPass to start my car.”
“Alexa, tell FordPass to turn off my car”
“Alexa, ask FordPass to lock my vehicle.”
“Alexa, tell FordPass to unlock my car.”
“Alexa, what is the status of my last command using FordPass?” (used after lock/unlock and start/stop commands)
“Alexa, ask FordPass for my odometer.”
“Alexa, ask FordPass what is my range?”
"Alexa, ask FordPass to start charging my car."
"Alexa, ask FordPass to stop charging."
"Alexa, ask FordPass for my charge level."
"Alexa, ask FordPass for my charge status."

Edit; Tried and many commands don't work like range, odometer. Says FP doesn't have that command. If I ask for charge level, it wants to know who to send the money to.

Remote Start?? It's Electric

I want to remotely view camera's, have blinker cameras, maybe even YouTube on CarPlay when charging.

You guys know that Tesla's have no start button, no keys. You know all of that silly ICE stuff can go away.

I may be missing something but my Ford pass app has not yet updated or is showing an update pending for the 5.21 version. Can someone please educate me on how to?

This FordPass update does not enable you to start with Siri. Only lock, unlock and check charging levels.

I never get that. If you can start via a lock screen, then why hamstring it like that? SMH Ford Digital team

Sorry if this is a silly question. How can I update the app? How do I add it to the control screen

Update the app by clicking your profile picture on the App Store and check for updates.

Add widget to control panel by pressing in an unused area of the panel , add control, scroll down to FordPass and select the control. Repeat for all desired controls.

App updates generally aren't available to everyone instantly. They scale over the course of a few days so might need to check again in a day or two

Strangely, I never see a FordPass "update" in the list of updatable apps after going to Profile. I need to search for FordPass in the App Store app, then click on the FordPass description, then I see the "Update" button. It's the only app that behaves this way for me.
