We left upstate NY decades ago. Now in Florida electricity is 14 cents/kwh. Plus local utility has a deal for $31/mo that includes unlimited charging at home all weekend hours and off peak during weekdays.

We put up with occasional hurricanes, heat etc but no state or city income tax. We miss looking at newly fallen snow but don’t miss shoveling it.

I dont see how that's possible. When getting 1.7mi/kwh and paying $0.56/kwh on fast chargers (I've seen $0.47 once) you're paying $0.33/mi which is higher than any modern gas 1/2 ton when gas is $3/ gallon, and that's without a trailer.

With a trailer is probably double.
Here's the summary:

Your averaging $0.13/ kwh at fast charger? That's better than I get at at home.
11800/1.17=10085.4kwh
$1316/10085.4=$0.13/kwh

Remember that we’re towing a camping trailer. Many nights we charged in campgrounds. Some were charged at the homes of families or friends. We found a as few free charging opportunities.

I have stated on other threads that I use the FCSP (on a 100 amp breaker)and generally I adjust the charge rate down based on my excess solar production. I generally have about 9 or 10 kW excess production during the day, although this spring and early summer has been excessively cloudy and rainy here in Texas, so I adjust mine down to about half of the 80 amp max. if I need to charge the truck faster without worrying about my solar production, I just ramp it up to 79 amp if I am in a hurry. It can all be done in the Ford pass app and overall works well now that they have made improvement through OTA updates!

I should have looked at the dates. It took 3ish months to go that far.

That makes sense, but you're not comparing apples to apples. The ICE f150 doesn't get free gas on their cross country trip.

Actually, I am comparing apples to apples. The fact that free charging is available in some cases is a benefit of EVs.
