The "fit" of the wheel within the wheel well is so much better with your setup.shockingly good! It does not ride as a semi – lowered truck at all. The slop and floating feeling is completely gone. It handles bumps very well and is absolutely flat around corners.
Although the suspension has less travel, the computer/app adjust to road conditions very quickly (thousand times a second?) The rear suspension is very very close to the bump stop and I did not even lower it the full 4 inches or so. I may end up lifting it another half inch or so. Icon recommends 1 inch of thread showing.
The replacement bump stop they have are very good. If you do happen to bottom out, there's no shock or jolt because the suspension handles it so well. overall it rides tighter, smoother with less cushion feel. It really shines around curves though, no more worrying body lean.
That's a steal of a deal if they look good and hold up!$400 total at my local automotive powdercoater.
There are no rear blocks like you speak of, it has an independent rear suspension not a solid rear axle.Has anyone just done the reverse level and removed the rear blocks on the F150 lightning? Is that all you need to do to get rid of some of that crazy amount of rake from the factory?
No. That's impossible. And it causes severe camber issues. Lowering the rear requires the Icon camber kit.Has anyone just done the reverse level and removed the rear blocks on the F150 lightning? Is that all you need to do to get rid of some of that crazy amount of rake from the factory?
