Here's what I found out. This is a minor config update to IPMA for vehicles that have got BC 1.4 in service.

Can your sources explain to us why BC 1.4 took away lane centering while towing? It used to be there in BC 1.2. With the upgrade to BC 1.4 (original and this month’s update) the truck only has Adaptive Cruise Control but no Lane Centering while towing.

No, 10 inches of snow has hampered my desire. We are still in weather warning to stay off roads (southern IN). Maybe when the snow gets pushed enough on roads to show lane markings...

It seems like it reverted one of the IPMA changes on your truck. If lane change doesn't work, lmk. It's an easy fix.

If anyone is keeping track, my 2023 Lariat ER just updated this morning. There was no install now button so I changed the install time from 1 AM any day to 1130 AM any day. Only took around 6 minutes as noted on the update screen. I have not seen any subsequent Sync update others have reported as of this posting.

Just rec'd (release notes, last updated 1-28-26, IPMA 24.204.10.9) on a 2022 XLT 312a SR (has ACC). Said it would take about 6 minutes.

Is it just me or did we lose the ability to add up to 5mph on cruise control to the posted speed limit? For example the truck shows the speed limit is 45 mph and I select to add 5mph so the truck automatically sets my speed to 50 mph.

It's still there. I think mine was reset to 0, but I was able to put it back to 6 over where I prefer it.

Ahhh…thanks. Just went back to the truck and checked. Predictive speed control was toggled off after the update. I toggled it back on and could now see the speed adjustment slider. It was still on 5 mph (my preference) but was not working because the predictive speed control toggle was off. Just getting old I guess and losing track of the sub menus.

Everything works properly when not towing but Ford still hasn't re-enabled lane centering while towing.
