Does this feature even exist on the 2025 Lariat models? I have the button below my screen, I have watched videos of how it is supposed to work, but can’t figure out whether it is simply not recognizing a parking space or if it doesn’t exist at all?

It’s only on 22-23’s. Removed in 24.

The only people who would use it are in 24-25s apparently so they removed it after 23s. Ford apparently likes to remove things before it catches on, like the Lightning.

My 25 Flash has the button, effectively does nothing.

I love this forum ! i learn something new from it everyday. I have had my truck for a year now and i didn't realize this feature worked on my truck. ( yes... i know from the "you should have read your manual crowd") I have seen the button but honestly i thought it was a park feature...... o well.... tried it out today and it worked as advertised. But yeah its probably a lot faster to park yourself.

I use it about once a month if no cars are around. It’s pretty good actually. Just slow.

I agree with the other commenters. It is a nice feature but poorly executed. I have used it successfully exactly three times in three years. Have wanted to use it other times but it is so clunky a process to use that I just revert to doing what I have done for 40 years and parallel parked the truck myself. Ford had a good idea here, but poorly executed.

So much discussion about a feature introduced by Ford in 2009, and discontinued across all Ford vehicles (not just the Lightning)...

It was discontinued for lack of use by owners, combined with cost, and the reality that Ford won't lose any sales by discontinuing it.

It was a nice feature WHEN 360 degree cameras did not exist. Now that they do, if you need Park Assist that speaks oodles to your driving ability.

For those that found it useful to park in a perpendicular space (i.e. parking lots), you must not care about door dings. I park far away, not near vehicles. This feature doesn't allow that, it MUST park next to a vehicle.

For those that found it useful for parallel space parking, you must like your bumpers dinged by idiots who cannot drive.

But again, it's gone after 16 or so years.

I have a 23 Lariat and it has the button, but not the side bumper sensors and so it does not work. I believe you had to have the Copilot 360 option to get that. It included bluecruise, PAAK and Park Assist.
