I don't have this update yet so cant test it out - hoping I will get it soon.

Confirmed - I just received 25.8.5 today and the PPOB when off slider remains enabled instead of togging back off as it did previously.

Yes, see this post. Also get the timer, heater only needs to be on a few seconds every few minutes, not constant.

It's just ridiculous that Ford thinks it's safer for everyone to create all these hazardous concoctions to keep the system running. Hopefully AI Brian is taking note of this and letting the people that come up with these ideas know that the community is in agreement that this is dumb.

my 2022 does not unfortunately have the option to leave PPOB on, but I use this heating mat in my driver Foot well... Works nice to keep the feet warm in winter. Says it runs at 120w so it might serve the purpose of satisfying the minimal load demand well. It has 2 settings, so perhaps the lower setting draws closer to the 90w demand.
