I have been trying different driving models since BP7 came out. My winner is,,SCM,,SC Model (January 08, 2026).
I tried cd210,wd-40, dark souls V2, Noter Dame, OPM10v3,and Pop Model V2. each one I used for a couple days. Keep in mind when changing models always recalibrate, And you must drive for at least 20 minutes above 50 miles an hour for it to synchronize with your vehicle. "I have a stock 2024 lightning flash".
SCM holds the center of lane. When going around corners it does it like a human would. The lane change is smooth. I don`t notice any ping ponging at low speeds or high speeds. braking is smooth. I can go around more corners with SCM without assisting. "Slowing down for corners is still required". SCM is the most human like that I have found.
The only non stock settings I have is the vehicle specific angle control for 15 mph curves, and 70 mph curves.

Thanks for the research/testing! I just change my model to SC Model based on your recommendation! You're 100% correct, this model does hold the center of the lane much better!!

Only a few days into CD210 after tuning w/ Dark Souls v2.

Dark Souls v2 definitely was more twitchy on adjustments to the wheel and felt "robotic"

CD210 seems to ease in and out of adjustments and is keeping center A LOT better than before. Haven't done many highway drives yet.

edit: actually just did a factory reset, and got updated to the Aug 2 commits. Kept my tuning params from before and ran SCM. liking it so far!

I'm in central MD if anyone needs any help. Just completed my first long drive with the C4 utilizing the Bitterroot Diesel 3D printed mount. Worked great & calibration looks spot on. The Lightning coupler fit very nicely behind the LKA camera shroud.

Honestly couldn't be happier with how smooth everything went & is going lol way better than normal BC, and I haven't even tried the experimental light/stop sign recognition yet.

Installed OP then uninstalled it, & installed BluePilot without any issues. Currently running BP 7.0.

I have Firehouse activated, but are there any other options I should have turned on for getting data back to OP & BP? & in regards to the Lightning coupler, is there any way I can leave a review besides clicking on the smiley face? Lol

Huge shout out to everyone in this thread, was definitely a little nervous just based on some of the issues l've seen people run into, but just like our Lightnings, most of what is on this forum is from when people run into an issue. So I wanted to take a moment & recognizance y’all for ur great work.

@Ajzride keep up the great YouTube videos, they were super helpful.

Is anyone having an issue with the new updates about if you take over steering wheel control and it says pay attention you have to fully disengage the cruise control to get it to stop throwing the error message or just keeps on forever?

Fresh install with the BP Sliding Dock. Hardest part was realizing I needed a pick to get the a-pillar trim cap off (Home Depot run!), and then having my daughter use her small hands to get the adapter cable plugged back into the computer.

I think I accidentally fired up the truck before plugging the Comma4 into the USBC cable so got some error messages and ended up with a DTC I needed to clear with my BT OBDII dongle.

Started off with BP7 and Dark Souls V2. Really liking it. Want to play more with E2E and other settings. It struggles with staying out of center of road in my development with oncoming cars and cars parked on side, but there aren't any lane markings.

Having mixed feelings about using Ford ACC for longitudinal control versus BP. No tuning yet as I felt comfortable where it was holding in marked lanes. Hope to get some longer drives over the next week.

If your phone is within camera range it will now nag you. some people have moved their phone holders because of it.

Yeah, this just happened to be a sharp turn, and it threw up the warning. I immediately kept my hands on the wheel, but the warning kept going off for at least 30 seconds until I fully disengaged the Cruise control.
