I just swapped all 4 corners to the eibach coilovers. The tub can stay in place no need to remove it

Tell me more. That's something I've been wanting to do also.

Thanks. I did go out and look up in the wheel wells last night and it does appear that tool access is very possible with or without removing the frunk tub.

I saw a post on the Lightning owners group on FB about alignment. It makes perfect sense, but I guess I didn’t realize how complicated alignments can be on these trucks. Apparently Ford’s statement is that certain adjustments of alignment bolts require recalibration of the radar/sensors onboard.

Anyhow, my question is this: I bought a 1.5” level spacer kit that I plan to install this coming weekend. I also have some 1.5” wheel spacers on order from BORA that I may or may not use. Trying to decide if I want to use those, or just order aftermarket wheels with less offset. I’ve installed countless levels and lifts and wheels and tires on trucks and Jeeps over the years so I have no problem understanding what fits and what doesn’t. My question is this: after I install this small leveling kit, am I going to have issues with onboard systems? Is the lane centering, radar, steering angle sensor, etc. going to be screwed up and throw codes? Or have you guys been able to successfully do leveling kits with zero drama?

I have a coilover lift, which is higher than leveling spacers/pucks alone...plus non-standard offest wheels & larger tires.

Both in town and on a recent 1,200 mile trip (BlueCruise used almost the whole way), I have had no issues with any of those things. My most recent 2-day FDRS license used, I almost did recalibration of the cameras, but didn't end up executing them (was raining a bit and the instructions stated the vehicle needed to be driven).

You will want an alignment and to re-aim the headlights down a tad, but you said you have former experiences with that.

Good luck in your endeavors!

Installation went well. We unhooked the brake/ABS lines, disconnected the sway bar link at the top, disconnected the upper ball joint, and disconnected the steering linkage. Struts then were able to go in/out. Only tough part was putting the struts back in with the spacers now bolted on due to the extra height, but a crow bar took care of that problem. I did not want to fool around with any control arm bolts because I'm not going to get an alignment until I get tires.

Ended up with exactly 1.5" of level as advertised, which leaves 1.5" of rake for hauling and towing while still looking better than stock.
