This is awesome! I’m very interested in doing this for my ‘23 Pro.
Did you end up doing this to your 23 Pro? I have the same year and model and would love to do this so that I can add the comma four system.

I have not attempted this yet. Life has been too busy.

I did this mod a few years ago without replacing the button on steering wheel. Everything has been working perfectly.
I'm now getting a new steering wheel (for HSW mod), which has the follow distance button. To program this button in, can somebody confirm if the only FORScan change needed is the one line in SCCM ( 724-03-01 03xx xxxx )?
Thanks!

You don't need a video to check the wires, remove your fuse box cover and passenger kick panel and look at plug C265.

See my post on page 6 to learn how this connector comes apart.

1686161457156.webp

IMPA is Image Processor A, and it's just above/in the drivers kick panel, you can reach it from underneath and through the dash side panel with the door open. This is the connector that has the CCM pins:

You can pop this connector out easily in 30sec to check if you have wires form the IMPA or not.
9,18,19,20 will have wires of the correct color based on the diagram.

Can someone just double check with me here. 2022 XLT SR 311A. Used a snake cam to take pics and it looks like I have the wires here at C265 (passenger kick panel) and the IPMA (driver side kick panel), but specifically want to confirm that the C265 is correct because it almost looks like in the pic I quoted there are multiple wires going in?

Pic #1: IPMA looks like 18,19,20 are fine here and another pic not attached 9 is good.

Pic #2: C265, my question is whether 54 (BN/BU) pin has multiple wires like it looks like in quoted pic, but in mine definitely doesn't, hoping that is just because of the angle the quoted pic took.

And assuming my C265 is good, those are the wires that go down to C134 so I don't need to take out the frunk tub to confirm C134 is good to go, right?

Finally going to get around to this because someone's unsecured trailer load launched a garbage can and destroyed 3 of the plastic trim pieces on my bumper (F&#@ Ford for charging like $600 for the 3 pieces that broke, insane, and I didn't get the license plate of the other driver so I'm on the hook) so while I'm ordering those parts and fixing everything I finally want to do this ACC mod.

I would recommend the "making your own harness method" instead of trying to figure out if all of the current harnesses are actually connected. You have to remove the tub, but that's not really an issue. It's more difficult trying to get to all of the harness plugs and determine if you have the wires than it is to just make your own harness from the new radar (CCM) in the bumper to the IPMA plug under the left driver's side dash.

The process of building the harness ($60+ on that part, unless someone knows the plug I can buy off digikey but I didn't see anyone comment about that) and routing it sounds like it would be tougher if the process is unnecessary (ie I think I already have the wires).

go on comma AI and order the harness for the IPMA and and its just four wires and run it straight to the box, the grey connectors are just temp till i run it through the firewall and then wire it.

Nice, so is that the total harness needed for comma? Was going to get one eventually so if it is only ~$100 in total (to go from CCM to IPMA, plus including the comma harness) then that does seem reasonable. edit: not seeing the CCM plug listed anywhere (just the Q4 harness). So again I would love to know if anyone has found the CCM plug listed other than that overpriced ~$60 Ford part kit.

this is the harness ita a q 4 you have to cut it up and splice the wires and then tap the 4 wires into it

I forgot to mention that to activate the ccm, you have to go in the ipma and input one value. and the wiring diagram for the wires for the ipma and ccm plug. doesn’t watter what is ran in between just make sure these run to the same colors. I would just buy a harness cut it up and use the plug out of it. that is what i did

Ford lightning XLT 2024
Hi everyone,
I have a 2024 F-150 Lightning XLT and I'm in trouble with my SCCM after attempting the ACC retrofit mod. I used Claude AI to help me summarize this thread, build a personalized install guide from the scattered posts, and also to write this post in a clear and organized way — so hopefully it's easy to follow!

During the ACC install, I changed 724-03-01 from 0201 0000 to 3201 0000 to configure the new SW-8937 cruise control switch (left steering wheel button). The value 32 was calculated with the help of Claude AI based on an offset from my starting value — this turned out to be a mistake.

Current symptoms:
Steering wheel buttons not working
High beams not working properly
Wipers only work at maximum speed — all other speeds unresponsive
SCCM is unresponsive most of the time — when it does communicate, it shows the following DTCs:
B137F - Steering Wheel Left Switch Pack - Incorrect Component Installed
When it communicate SCCM Easy Mode shows "50 - Incorrect value or not configured" for Steering Wheel Switch Left
HCM shows U0429 - Invalid Data From Steering Column Control Module
Turn signals behave very strangely: 3-4 second delay before activating, then 2 quick flashes, short pause, then 4 quick flashes — and this pattern repeats instead of normal rhythmic blinking
What I've tried:
FORScan Configuration → SCCM is offline most of the time. When it does respond, it usually only shows 2 blocks (724-01-01 and 724-02-01). Occasionally all 5 blocks appear, but the module becomes unresponsive again shortly after — never long enough to successfully write anything.
FORScan Load Factory AB → also fails
FDRS with Mongoose-Plus J2534 Ford → PMI attempted but failed with "NRC 7F - serviceNotSupportedInActiveSession"
FDRS with TOPDON RLink J2534 (CAN FD/DoIP) →waiting for the deliveryof the cable this afternoon results pending
Questions:
Any chance the PMI will pass with CAN FD/DoIP support?

Vehicle: 2024 F-150 Lightning XLT, VIN: 1FTVW3LK1RWG01883
FORScan v2.3.70, Mongoose-Plus J2534 Ford, TOPDON RLink J2534
@ZSC100 @rugedraw @hturnerfamily any help appreciated!
Thanks
