I bought a 23 in April 24. My BlueCruise runs through April 2031. So I am getting 7 years free. Every time I saw someone post about a free extension I went and added it.
Wondering if this flaw in the extension routine will play out to 2031?

'22 SR original owner here. I haven't received a renewal offer, checking my Ford account shows no discount for the October end to my free BlueCruise. I hope this changes: I love my BC, but not for $50/month or $495/yr.

Meanwhile, 2024 and 2025 owners are stuck with their crappy 90-day trial and no freebie offers.

Yes, I understand why the early trucks got three years initially and the one year extension vs only three months for the later trucks (don't necessarily like it, but I understand it). However the free extensions the early trucks keep getting is crazy.

I think what you are asking is what's the difference between BlueCruise and Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering (what you have without a BlueCruise subscription). BlueCruise give you hands free without a 12 second nag to keep your hands on the wheel and as you mentioned the lane changing. In other words, with BlueCruise you have to keep your eyes on the road, but without it you have to apply a little wheel torque every 12 seconds.
Thanks for the reply. I worded my post wrong. As you say, it seems there is less nagging about looking away etc. without the BC than with it. BC is nice on the interstate; seems to work better, but I don't drive on the interstate much.

I just got back from a fairly long trip. Used blue cruise quite a bit. It’s definitely not Tesla FSD, not even autopilot good, but it is more than sufficient. Will stay in lane, will switch lanes if you show blinker. Pretty good.
