I was going to order with them but when I called they wouldn’t promise me no markup so I went elsewhere. I didn’t try too hard since it was early on and I had a dealer say yes already. They had like 3-5 lightnings when I drove by a few weeks ago

Don't lose hope, yet. Mine is reportedly built and released to the carrier, but still shows as "in production" on the Thermometer of Hope and Despair.

Built 12/17, est delivery 12/28 - 1/3 to MA

Now we're "Estimated Delivery 1/6/2023 - 1/12/2023"

It looks like the window is a 7-day stretch, but doesn't start on a particular day of the week (went from a Wednesday to Tuesday window to a Friday to Thursday window). I've seen these build dates jump back and forth in build week posts on others so it doesn't mean anything, but just want to share as an updated data point.

Thanks. I can't seem to get my dealer to return my messages and give me more detail. If I weren't quarantined at home, I'd just head down there and park at someone's desk until I had an answer LOL

Mine updated to Built 12/19 this morning! 12/11 blend date. That’s 8 days with spray in liner, not bad!

My parking spot is ready to go. My dealer got a hold of me yesterday and said the vehicle was built and awaiting shipment looking to be around mid-January +/- a week. I'm really impressed that Ford is trying to follow blend dates is seems with chip holds. This has been a very long process that was not very well communicated along the way, but it is what it is...... LETS GO 12/5's we're on the final stretch!!!!

In the same boat. I just talked to my dealer looking at VINView. He said last update was on 15th and it says it is just sitting in Dearborn MI. But I am a bit more relaxed since the guidance delay announcement. I wouldn't drive it much in winter so if there is no tax penalty, I would be OK with January delivery. But I have to admit, I would rather for it to rust out sitting in my driveway instead of rusting in a parking lot in Michigan.

pretty sure this is the old system and not "VINview" which was rolled out on Oct25. dealers have to acopt by February. just saying that this system may be the delayed info system that the chat is using as well as the thermometer in order tracking.
