Found this, perhaps this is the issue:

Is remote park assist part of the Co-Pilot Active package? I have a Lariat SR, which only has Co-Pilot Assist.

Unclear, as I hadn't heard of that feature before yesterday. Looks like it might be a future feature that would summon the truck out of a tight parking space so you could get in it.

Would also make sense that the extra antenna in the front would be part of the active package rather than the assist.

There’s a key difference. Summon implies automation. So when you use your Tesla app to initiate the request for the car come to you and it hits the garage door, you are able to complain to Tesla, argue with them, sue them, file a complaint with NHTSA before being told and finally admitting you screwed up.

Remote parking assist implies you are in control at a distance. So when you use your FordPass app to tell your car to move and it hits the garage door, you know immediately you were being an idiot.

A simple wording difference, but it’s far more efficient in determining if you were being an idiot.

Does anyone else have what feels like driveline slack on their truck?

I have it in 1-pedal drive and Ford's software seems a bit indecisive. That seems to be translating into an odd feeling. It feels like driveline slack, or how a transmission delay would feel in an ICE vehicle. At a creep, it rolls but fights itself in wanting to brake then almost clunks as it frees up again.

The same happens when easing off to a stop but if the light turns green before Im full stop it will once again clunk and a very minor lurch/hesitation before acceleration again.

I'm going to turn off 1-pedal tomorrow to see if it persists, but figured I'd post it here to see if anyone else notices it.
I figured it was me learning the “sweet spot” in 1PD, but I’ve noticed it too.

My first EV, so certainly my first 1PD experience.
This happened to me this morning, I heard some clunking and had some shaking as well. Happened 3 times on my drive all at slow/creep speeds. Going to keep an eye on it, don't love that at 1,400 miles this is already happening.

Well...the day came earlier than I anticipated. Today is the 6th day I've owned my F-150 Lightning.

I originally placed the $100 deposit thinking - the Rivian will never actually come, just like the Cybertruck. After writing the check out for my F-150L and really falling quite in love with the vehicle, I got contacted today that my Rivian is ready for delivery....figures.

Some thoughts about this.

1) Ford's process is far more transparent, and fun in terms of tracking and interacting with everyone on here.

2) The Ford is cheaper to insure, but not by much - 5% less than the R1T for the exact same coverage.

3) Purchase process, equal. Going through Ford's online purchase is no better or worse than going through Rivian's 8 steps process, but there's less anxiety about a last minute ADM or the dealer selling my car to someone else.

4) If I had taken my Ford order more seriously, I would probably have cancelled my Rivian order by now. With the benefit of hindsight my order would have been a Lariat ER or aa Platinum. This thing would be a heck of a road trip vehicle with blue cruise and massaging seats.

Like ready, ready or "here's your production week" ready?

My Tesla experience was "unexpected" as well in that I placed the order and it said 6-8 weeks. I get a text the next day saying your Model 3 will be delivered and ready for pickup the upcoming weekend so like 4 days.

I ordered with Tesla when you were able to track it going through each build process, it was pretty cool but a long and painful wait.

All my paperwork is complete. The truck produced and is awaiting shipment from Normal IL. But I mean…we know how that goes. It could be one ramp over on 6M.

I’m told delivery can potentially be as early as next week…I’m willing to bet a slurpee it won’t be.

UPS sent me a tracking number to my email and a text to my phone, it’ll be here tomorrow.

The original plan was to get the F-150L in “early spring” and drive it until the Rivian comes in Q4.

Thanks to price increases on both sides, I think I managed to convince the Mrs to let me keep both on the value principle. I told her the cost of my Pro + R1T total after all incentives costs less than a single F-150L Platinum.

…I neglected to tell her if I sold either one, it would cover about half the cost of the other.

You don’t get the FCSP just like you don’t get the ability to open your frunk with the doors locked!
