Hello,
Has anyone recently been getting this "1 Pedal Drive Fault press brake pedal to reduce speed" error message? I would get this message randomly. When it appears, I've tried to turn the truck off and turn back on but the issue is still there. Now if I drive it a few miles, turn off, turn it back on, the error message goes away and 1 pedal works again.
This has been happening since Friday and today is the 4th time is has happened within the 2 weeks and 700ish miles of owning this 2025 Lighting Lariat. I appreciate any advice on this.

Do you have any other faults?

Do you drive with 2 feet?

Contact your service department and ask them to check the codes on your truck (VIN). It is remotely accessible via FDRS or maybe it’s FRDS. 🤷‍♂️

If this happens again, look at the power distribution front/rear screen, I'm wondering if you also had malfunctioning front motor?

This seems very similar to issue I had.
Ended up being a broken wire in harness to the IPMA if I remember correctly.
Took them awhile to diagnose.

I’ll try and find my stuff I posted on here.

This is my post from when they finally figured out what was going on with my truck.
Happened to me at around 20k miles and with a very specific procedure I could get 1 pedal to work.
anyway I documented the fix.
Rear motor replacement did nothing.

Hope this helps

They gave me a route to set the pedal but it did nothing. Will probably calling the service advisor on Monday again.

Like drive with the fault and check the power distribution in the dash screen? Are you thinking when the fault happens that I'm only being powered by the rear wheels only?

Would never have thought it's a wire. My truck is too new. The only difference with mine is the error fault message pops up before I even put the truck in gear. It's immediate from when the vehicle is started. Been using blue cruise with no issues. And I've only charged it once away from home on a fast charger with no issues. Mine is random and fixes itself after a few miles but would come back. I'll definitely mention what you went through to my service advisor just in case.

Possibly, have the screen available in your MyView setup so you can flip to it quickly when needed.
