This is replacing my 22 Jeep Wrngler Rubicon. So far i am loving it, as it is a much nicer ride and the technology is off the hook. I will miss the 4 wheeling but the Lightning seems to be worth it, at least so far. My only complaint is I can get.it to charge over 240 miles. I am hoping it a glitch in the truck and not because of the build. It goes.to the dealer next week to figure it out.

Shit here's the picture

I like the wheels. Maybe the lift. I would like to see photo of truck sitting on level grade.

Nice!

Be aware Toyo is bringing out EV all terrain tires with lower road rolling resistance next year. Idea is have extended range even with an all terrain tire.

Extended range and you're only getting 240 when at 100%?

What's the 8th digit in your VIN? If the 8th digit is L, that's the SR, V is the ER.

That would be nice. I lost a lot of range with set up. Town and Country Ford said I would on lose 20%. It's more then that closer to 30%

It's ER. It goes to the dealer on Tuesday. Hopefully it's fixable. I am afraid it doing that because of my modificatons

You didn't lose 30% because you probably weren't getting 320mile range before the change. You have to drive 65 on a nice day, flat ground, no wind to get 320miles.

But the lift and tires is definitely a hit...it seems like most people see closer to 15-20% hit.

If you are reading range from the gauge screen it's not accurate. What mpkWh are you getting? Multiply that by 131 to get a more accurate idea of what your range is for the type of driving you do.

Also, the lift and wheels increases frontal area, coefficient of lift (increased turbulence from less aerodynamic wheels), and rolling resistance. That will hurt your range.

Looks great!

Ignore what the guess o meter says, there is nothing wrong with your truck.

Your range is being reduced by your out of tolerance setup.

3 things:

1. Suspension lift is changing geometry and aero profile.

2.your tires are now sticking out into the airflow creating even more drag, also rims are less aero.

3. Your tire choice is heavier and much larger, more aggressive tread, your rolling resistance is now way higher.

It looks fantastic but any range issues are 100% on you regardless of people's best guesstimates on what it should be. I doubt the dealer would even entertain looking at range issues with those modifications.

It's the build, big time. You need to check mi/kWh on your trip gage, I get 2 to 2.2 summer temps, 1.6 to 1.8 winter temps.
