Is this estimating on driving habits? Should I bring in to dealer? About 800 miles on it. Er battery lariat. 43 miles short, what the hell?

It’s a pessimistic guess-o-meter based on your driving history - so if you’ve driven it on the freeway in those first 800 miles then it’s factoring that into the estimate. You can reset it, or just get used to it being a bit conservative and keep a close eye on your mi/kwh for a sense of if it’s being *too* conservative.

Lots of freeway
You need to better understand the actual EPA ratings:. https://insideevs.com/news/584918/ford-f150-lightning-epa-range-efficiency/

The 320 mile listed range is a combined range rating, with both city and highway driving. There are two other range ratings, the city only rating, which is 350 miles, and the highway only rating, which is 283 miles. Also keep in mind, that is the range based on the EPA's test cycle, which does not match with 70mph highway driving (it's slower speeds).

The 277 miles estimated is right in line with the expected highway range.

Does the Ford app/UI allow you to switch to percentage instead of miles like Tesla does? If so, I highly recommend just switching over. It will speed up your internalization of the necessary EV mindset which is that you only need to worry about range when you are doing something outside the norm. And on those days, you should be using ABRP with known good assumptions and risk tolerance settings. On ordinary days you will never even pay attention to battery capacity.

LOL... he should also said "I think I have the wrong battery, SR instead of ER". Otherwise we are going to get a thread for that too.
Just wait until the masses start discovering the issues with DCFC. That ought to be a riot..

This is exactly why I used to tell new Tesla owners: Save yourself the anxiety and set it to percentage instead of miles.

Recently I've been charging both the Mach-E and the Lightning to 85%. And I end up showing the same mileage range estimate on both of them at the end of a charge. 235 miles +/- 5. They are both ERs.

That's a combined around town and interstate (75-80) type of driving. I don't generally WOT either of these while driving as I don't feel the need to impress anybody. :sneaky:
