Adding SecuriCode to Pro?

So, I just realized there is no way to contact Tasca…they don’t answer their phones..tell you to use chat. Chat dosent work. I tried email, chat, Facebook…nothing. Am I the only one who will never use this company again?? Can’t stand patronizing a business that can’t bother to talk to you. My order was 2 weeks ago and have no idea the holdup on multiple items.

I ordered this from eBay while I wait for the pre-cut piece. If it works I’ll sell the other.

I almost bought that same listing!
Im gonna go the route of dremmeling my current trim….the pre-cut one is to have on standby if/when I screw it up!
If it all goes well I’ll sell the pre cut one on this thread..I’m sure somebody will want it!

I'm going to go the opposite route, I'm going to save my original Trim Piece and sell it to someone who screws up cutting theirs.

Got notice today from Tasca that the trim piece has shipped via Fedex. I'll probably get it and the template the same day

Ok everyone….It’s done! Added to Pro today. Everything works as intended

Gotta be honest…it was a pain. If I didn't get so used to the feature on my previous F150…I probably would have quit on this one. Like most things, would take me half the time now…but was an honest 4 hours for me. That included me dremmeling out my trim piece. Routing the wire is what really sucked.
If anyone is wanting a trim piece with the hole already factory cut, I still have a new one. It was my backup if I screwed up mine when cutting!
Was $78 at tasca before tax and shipping. And, there was quite a delay in getting it. If someone here wants it for $80 shipped, let me know!

Any tips on the wire routing? I seen on other F150 videos it helps to remove the door handle but was hoping to avoid that.

Yeah, our handle on this Gen is different unless missing something. Removed mine and made no difference on access. Gives you none to be honest. Would be great because that is right where you need to be.
you need to keep wire behind window track, you’ll see. One video got me in trouble saying the wire goes down the hole behind trim piece…now way! It goes straight down.
Key is keeping the wire as close to running down door nearest the door latch…not straight down.
The one Christmas tree connection is right by the connector…I see no way to connect the other one. Hope it doesn’t cause a problem. Seems to be fine without. PM me and we can FaceTime or something if you get stuck!

I removed the exterior door handle…but just the handle comes off. The lock mechanism is still there on one side, and super tiny hole on other side. No access. Wasn’t about to try and get lock mechanism out without access to back side of it. Even then, the hole to be gained was maybe 1.5” by 1.5”??

With much insight from @jallen i got it done in 50 minutes. I even dropped a screw down the door and had it fish it out with a magnet tool. The wire fishing is the hardest part. I used a long dowel to push it down between the door edge and white plastic window guide.

50 minutes?…No fair! You already had the door apart once and scouted it out!!

Haha. Just kidding. Glad to see it went well. I also dropped a plastic connector into the door and had to find it with a snake camera!

So you need forscan to activate this feature or is it just plug and play?
