Had to hard button shutdown my phone to get the truck to turn off.

My mistake was answering a push notification about my satisfaction with the app.

The app, phone, and truck locked powered on, but useless.

You can guess what my satisfaction rating was for yourself.

Definitely not a good idea to answer a survey about the phone if it locks up on a push notification lol. Sounds to me like you need a new phone.

Interesting.....

Last night my phone auto updated the latest version of Android Auto.

This morning my phone would only connect in basic bluetooth mode in the Lightning, it failed to pick up the Sync projection signal, though the phone said it had connected the project SSID I still had no Google maps or other AA compliant apps from the phone showing on the 15" screen.

I ended up uninstalling the AA update, cleared the cache and user data for the app, then reinstalled the update, then the initial configuration & permissions process allowed android auto to work again.

I sent the developers a complaint & potential solution in my feedback via the Play Store.
