Apple Maps Preconditioning Coming to Mach-E

An article in 9 to 5 Mac today says that preconditioning is coming to the 2026 Mach-E. Hopefully it will work its way over to earlier years and the Lightning.

Are we sure this doesn't happen already? I've heard the heat pump going nuts before I arrived at a Super charger station -- and it only knew I was going there by Apple Maps.
