I've seen this same 'non-auto-high beams' from time to time, and actually, we've noticed it on our EV9, also... it seems that the 'auto' part is not remaining active, when it should... the EV9's 'automatic wipers' is just as annoying - it's either on WAY too much and too fast, or doesn't respond AS SOON as it needs to... and, there's no 'middle ground', either... you either have 'auto mode' or you have 'always on'... there is no 'infrequent' wiper option.
While there is a switch that seems to refer to a 'slower' or 'faster' frequency mode, it doesn't seem to change anything, or make any difference.

@KingConan Got your message, but responding here so the info is out there. Your truck is reporting these codes:

Ford F-150 Lightning Auto highbeams not working 1764694982035-fk

First code is citing an open circuit in the lighting driver control module and the other code cites a component internal failure in the HCM for the left headlamp. Both of these are active and not stored codes. Seems like the headlight may be the toast. If the issue was config or software related, the codes would indicate something along those lines.

Codes are only stored for 60 days at a time on the cloud, and these codes have been there for 60 days and more.

Thank you for providing this detail I really wish the dealership was as sharp and didn't advise me to try the module first as it appears clear its the headlight.

Do both of these trace to the headlamp assembly itself if I was to purchase and replace myself, or is one to the HCM located elsewhere in the truck?

Hard to say without being able to plug into the truck and run pin-point tests. Some things are obvious and can be diagnosed remotely, but I don't feel comfortable saying for sure it the headlight based on those codes. Maybe @Jesse-Infotainment can chime in and give his opinion.

Have you checked your front low beam if it is working? I have no idea why they even went for the HCM.. This would be either the Headlamp assembly or the LDCMA(Headlight Module)

If the Low beam is indeed working then My best GUESS would be the actual headlight module.

You would need to confirm the low beam situation first though

The center light in the stack of the left headlamp always remained working. The upper/lower light in the stack worked for high-beams manual, but would intermittently turn on for low-beam night driving.

Ok. that would have absolutely NOTHING to do with the HCM.

That DTC set when It detects a open circuit from the Low Beam LED

So looking at this my GUESS would be the Headlight itself. The DTC points to an Internal Headlamp issue. COuld be a wireing inside the Headlamp.. you can pull the module and inspect the connector.. verify nothing is damaged or has gotten too hot.
