Hum, sounds familiar, My 06 Taco had the direction/temp display above the rear view mirror, (nice hot spot of the cab) there was a solder connection that would break, thus shutting it off. I pulled it down several times remaking the connection, That problem is now gone due to the truck being totaled. Hopefully this can be addressed under warranty. My Taco problem was out of warranty, & IIRC was about $200 to replace.I had the same issue with my camera. Took into the dealer and they replaced same day. In my case the service tech told me the soldering on the wiring failed due to the high heat recieved on the roof from sitting out in the sunshine.
Seems to be a known issue but unfortunately a poor design from Ford.
It is the heat. I had similar situation. Dealer could not do any repairs, because at the time I took it in , it was working.Bed camera quit working yesterday, now only blue screen. Other cameras work fine.
Tried rebooting IPMA, no good.
Any other thoughts besides take it to the dealer?
Mine is doing the same thing. I noticed it a couple weeks ago when I had a load in it. It started working and then stopped again. I scheduled it for service on 7/11. Also, asking for 500 amp charging update and front sensor CSP.Bed camera quit working yesterday, now only blue screen. Other cameras work fine.
