Bed storage cubby

Never noticed the wording on that black panel on the passenger side rear of the bed, as soon as I got closer and read what it said I immediately knew I could not let that remain. My ocd kicked in the minute I knew I was missing out on something.

Didn't matter you couldn't fit a full box of kleenex in it, if it was made for the truck, damn it I gotta get it lol.

My truck came with this little storage area, it is super handy as you say for tie-downs and the pins for the hitches, and adapters for truck plug. I wish it was a bit bigger though. lol.

Wish my truck had this. Its a shame because there does seem to be a lot of space that could be used between the bed walls and the outside panels of the truck.

My truck does not have this. I wonder if it was covered up with the spray in bed liner. If so, that was a dumb move.

No, afraid not... I think it was added on 2024 ? and you can see that the older trucks have four "ribs" whereas the newer one with the storage only have two.

I had one on a previous truck. It was good for storing things like hitches and tiedowns but the back of the bed needed to be empty enough to swing it out to access it, or the tonneau cover needed to be opened. In my case, I had a Diamondback hardcover that made it awkward. Works great if you remember to take out what you need before you load the truck.

I have one also. Nice to keep a small set of tools in there and some tie down straps. Just give it a shot of WD40 every once in a while and your good to go
