My Lariat Sync 4A camera views don't seem to be working right. I'll insert both video capturing several issues and stills for each reference.

Observations and questions:
  1. Does the Bed View camera only work under 5 (or 10?) miles per hour? I can swear the Bed View camera worked at any speed at one time. I could watch a bed payload on the highway if I needed to. Then at some point over the winter, it seems to turn off automatically once I get going.
  2. Is the Bed View camera button unresponsive for others? Once I'm moving, when I try to navigate to the Bed View camera, the button registers my press but nothing changes on the screen.
  3. What does "Full View Not Available" mean? When I tap on the global camera button, I see the default tailgate camera view with the words "Full View Not Available". This is unhelpful. What's going on?
  4. Does the Trailer View camera work for anybody? When tap on the camera icon with the plus "+" on it, I get a blue screen that says "Camera Intended For Trailer Only". Ok... fine. But this shows even when I have a trailer attached and in trailer mode. What's going on?

The trailer + cam is for the additional trailer mounted camera you can buy as a kit.

"full view not available" is a common "feature", just search the forums for more on that.

As far as being speed limited for camera use, that's not common, you may be behind on updates or maybe it's configured like that in your truck, check the settings and if there's nothing in there then contact your dealer.

@16cards, based on your thoroughness in writing this thread I'm guessing you'd be comfortable making changes to the software of your truck. Check out the Forscan thread for in-depth information.

I think the bed camera is supposed to be available at speed but I've made a few changes to the way cameras work using Forscan so I can't say with certainty. It works at speed on my truck.

"Full View Not Available" means the video has been clipped at the edges. It's pretty silly they tell you this at all because there's nothing you can do with this information, but it's especially maddening they chose to put it in the middle of the screen! The message can be easily removed using Forscan.

I have a "virgin" 23 Platinum with no Forscan changes and I can confirm that I can use my bed cam while driving at speed. Yes... Trailer view is if you buy the optional trailer mounted camera and install it on your trailer. "Full view not available" is some kind of sick joke at Ford that they can't spend 2 seconds to fix.

That's good insight from an "untampered" vehicle. :)

Will you confirm that you do have the icon for the trailer view?

As mentioned, you can use FORScan to get rid of the Full View message. If you are unfamiliar with FORScan read both posts 1 and 2 on the new main thread:
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/f150-lightning-forscan-thread-version-2.23634/

It does sound like you are missing some updates. The inabilty to get back to the main camera view (X button doesn't work) was fixed in an update. Before you had to drop below 5 mph for it to work. That same update likely will give you cameras at speed.

What Sync Revision are you on? Go to Settings..General..About Sync.

Odd - that's the latest version. It may be the IPMA module that determines the views, IDK. Have you received the BC 1.4 update or had the dealer do the Front Parking Sensors CSP?

If you want to try FORScan, you can at least remove the full view message and see what happens.

Odd that you say it was working and isn't now.

BlueCruise 1.4 installed a few weeks ago.

CSP for sensors was done this past Friday. I asked them to look at the cameras and they threw up their hands and claimed Ford must have removed the camera view of the bed while in motion.

Another thing I forgot… I know the front camera used to automatically show when sensors l front sensors triggered. They also don’t anymore. The diagram of the truck with the detected region show, but not the camera.

all of this predates the recent attempt with the service at the dealership.

I do know I have the "trailer view" icon but I am not at my truck right now to confirm what happens when I press it. Either the button is greyed out or I think when you press it the screen just goes blank. I will confirm this next time I drive.

Just in case you are not aware, the camera buttons available also change based on different actions. You get a bunch more options if you attach a trailer. Like side views (which I wish they would have even if you don't have a trailer attached). Those would be great to have as an extra blind spot detection when you put your turn signal light on. It just seems to me, the software team was rushed to add stuff and did not spend any time using the truck or thinking things through. I could forgive them in 2022 but it's 4 model years now and some of the most minor things such as "Full view not available" has not been fixed.

BC 1.4 would have updated your IPMA and PSCM making the CSP moot. Sounds like you're updated. You might DM your VIN to @rugedraw and see if he sees anything from his end. If you do, copy me. I can only look at your As-Built data for clues (which would have been updated with the OTA and possible dealer visit)

I can confirm on my 2024 Flash that Bed View works at speed. As I don't have a trailer, the trailer view only gives a message something along the line of "only works with a trailer camera". The trailer hitch view works great. I use it regularly when backing into a tight spot where there is something behind me I don't want to bump into.

To fix cameras at speed, make this change:

IPMA

706-02-02

xxxF xxxx xx--

To trigger the front camera coming on with the proximity sensors, I don't remember where to go to make that change. I know there is a setting in FORScan for it and it is in the IPMA, but I don't remember where. Maybe @Jesse-Infotainment can chime in for that one.

@rugedraw I’ve made the Forscan changes have the camera at speed again. And the unnecessary text is no longer displayed. Thanks.

Did this also fix your Issue #2 - Is the Bed View camera button unresponsive for others?
